Sunshine Towers at Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast is our home, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! The beach is so close you can go to sleep listening to the waves crashing in the distance, and wake to the warm sun shining through the window, reminding you you’re in paradise! I recently took a photograph at 6:30am of Brett walking along the beach, wearing shorts, both of us with bare feet – it was the 19th June. I remarked how wonderful it was to be able to take a beach walk near the shortest day and not freeze to death! We particularly love the winters when the sky is almost always clear, there’s not much wind and the temperatures are in the low 20’s. Sensational!
Cotton Tree Holiday Accommodation
At Sunshine Towers we are so fortunate to be just across the street from Cotton Tree Village where everything you might be looking for is at your fingertips. All of our Cotton Tree holiday accommodation including Surfcomber, Cranbourne Court and Pepperdine is a mere stone’s throw from the beach and the shops. We’re on a continuous improvement mission, always seeking to improve the standard of accommodation and in particular the guest experience for your stay with us in Maroochydore. We have 2 apartments that are recently renovated, which we’re very excited about. We are also in the process of upgrading the amenities in the apartments for an even warmer welcome for your holiday. At present we’re welcoming guests escaping winters chill in the south of Australia and New Zealand. Many of our guests enjoy a game of lawn bowls and love that they can simply walk across the road and join a game. For those who prefer indoor bowling, Maroochydore now boasts two indoor bowling alleys, just a few minutes’ walk along the Maroochy River, one in the Big Top and the other opposite the Duporth Hotel, both popular spots for shopping, rest and relaxation! Swimming is still an option for some brave hearts, our heated pool is still a very pleasant 27 degrees, and many still enjoy an ocean swim where the temperature is a balmy 19 degrees at present. The whales are due along our coastline and there are often sightings from our upper level balconies. Get out of the cold, take a break, come and thaw out at Sunshine Towers where the welcome is always warm and sunny with Andrea and Brett!
